Carolina
Canines for service relies strictly upon volunteers who share our mission
to keep this program working. Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas
as described below. Please consider offering your time and talents to help
us make the dream of independence a reality for people with
disabilities!
Foster
Puppy Trainers/Parents
Individuals
or families to raise a foster puppy in their home for 1 to 1½ years
and provide initial training through participation in training
classes with Carolina Canines for Service. Expenses occurred in the care
of training a foster puppy are tax deductible. (CCFS is a 501(c)3 non-profit
organization.)
Fund
Raising Activities
People to
assist in all types of fund-raising activities to include planning/organizing
major events, participation in local community events (festivals, fairs,
etc.) and presentations to corporate and civic groups.
Committee
Members
Committees
need to be maintained and coordinated including an Applicant Review Committee,
Foster Care Placement Committee, and Public Education/Presentation Coordinator,
and others.
