Volunteer Opportunities

Carolina Canines for service relies strictly upon volunteers who share our mission to keep this program working. Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas as described below. Please consider offering your time and talents to help us make the dream of independence a reality for people with disabilities!

Foster Puppy Trainers/Parents
Individuals or families to raise a foster puppy in their home for 1 to 1½ years and provide initial training through participation in training classes with Carolina Canines for Service. Expenses occurred in the care of training a foster puppy are tax deductible. (CCFS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.)
Fund Raising Activities
People to assist in all types of fund-raising activities to include planning/organizing major events, participation in local community events (festivals, fairs, etc.) and presentations to corporate and civic groups.
Committee Members
Committees need to be maintained and coordinated including an Applicant Review Committee, Foster Care Placement Committee, and Public Education/Presentation Coordinator, and others.
